SR Drivers are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Trunking (CE) Drivers on behalf of a well-established UK manufacturer based in Coventry (CV5). Our client has been manufacturing quality plastic household and garden products since 1978 and operates its own nationwide distribution fleet. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable Class 1 drivers looking for ongoing, full-time weekday work with a reputable company.
The Role
- Trunking between distribution centres and company depots
- Delivering and collecting loaded trailers
- Trailer swaps
- Completing vehicle checks and required paperwork
- Maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism
No handball involved
Shift Pattern
- Monday to Friday Day shifts
- Start times from 04:00 onwards
- Ongoing work available
Pay Rates
- £16.00 per hour (PAYE)
- £17.93 per hour including 12.07% accrued holiday pay
- Weekly pay
What We're Looking For
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category CE) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive
- Professional and reliable approach to work
- Must have a minimum of 2 years Class 1 driving experience
