SR Drivers are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a well-established logistics company based in Coventry (CV5). This role is ideal for drivers who want simple, consistent trunking work with early morning starts and no handball.

Responsibilities

  • Trunking Trailer drop and Swaps
  • Work Monday to Friday Days
  • Starting from 04:30am onwards
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays
  • Adhere to all legal requirements for commercial driving, including hours of service regulations
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times during operations

Qualifications

  • Valid UK driving licence suitable for heavy goods vehicles (HGV) C+E
  • MUST have 2 years HGV Class 1 experience
  • Demonstrable knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise deliveries
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude towards clients and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly in a fast-paced environment
