What you'll receive £16.25 per hour for your first 12 weeks ( paid weekly )
£19.22 per hour after 12 weeks
Permanent pay every 4 weeks (Thursday pay cycle)
£25 per night out
Up to £25 parking reimbursement per night out
M6 Toll expenses paid (authorisation required)
Monday to Friday working
No weekend work
No Friday night outs
Assigned vehicle
Driver equipment provided (tyre gauge & portable inspection light)
20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
Structured training
Long-term Temp to Perm opportunity
What you'll be doing You will deliver manufactured products to customers across England, Wales and parts of Scotland .
Your responsibilities will include:
Multi-drop deliveries (typically 1-17 drops per day)
Loading and unloading your vehicle when required
Delivering palletised and loose-loaded goods
Completing delivery paperwork accurately
Carrying out daily vehicle checks
Planning your routes and start times efficiently
Completing up to 2 nights out per week (if required)
What we're looking for To be successful, you'll have:
A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
A valid Driver CPC
A valid Digital Tachograph Card
At least 2 years' HGV Class 2 driving experience
Experience driving manual rigid vehicles
A good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations
A professional, reliable and customer-focused attitude
Be 25 years or over (insurance requirements)
