HGV Class 2 Driver Immediate Starts Available. SR Drivers Ltd are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to support one of our well-established transport and logistics clients based in Ely (CB7). This is an excellent opportunity for professional Class 2 drivers looking for regular ongoing work, with both day and night shifts available, alongside the flexibility of additional ad-hoc shifts.
The Role
- Monday to Friday day or night shifts
- Multi-drop deliveries and collections
- Palletised deliveries using a pump truck/pallet truck
- Local and regional delivery routes
- Well-maintained modern fleet
- Ongoing work with additional ad-hoc shifts available
- Immediate starts available for suitable drivers
Pay Rates
- Day Shifts: £14.25 per hour PAYE, £15.97 per hour (inclusive of accrued holiday pay)
- Night Shifts: £15.25 per hour PAYE, £17.09 per hour (inclusive of accrued holiday pay)
Weekly pay, pension contributions, holiday entitlement (where applicable).
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (no DD, DR or IN convictions)
- Previous multi-drop driving experience preferred
- Good customer service and communication skills
- A professional, reliable and safety-conscious approach to work
- Good understanding of Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations
