Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Pre-Sales Support: Develop, implement, and execute sales strategies to drive new customers by leveraging and expanding existing personal networks. Align sales strategy with company strategy including customer success efforts by effectively developing and managing internal stakeholders and relationships. Drive achievement of business objectives by management and expansion of sales relationships. Ensure leads are maximized through the sales process by collaboration with the lead generation team. Meet or exceed agreed conversion targets for products within the business. Optimize, review, and maintain sales processes in line with the company's broader strategy and customer success plans. Work with the lead generation team to help create and optimize lead management strategies from both online and offline channels. Work with the Customer Success team to support customers throughout trial and onboarding processes. Assist customers to derive value from the products they purchase.
- Product Leadership: Facilitate and lead regular product demonstrations and discussions through webinars, events, and other avenues to improve product knowledge amongst prospective customers. Ensure the timely resolution of any issues that arise regarding the delivery of software to customers, providing support to all parties. Build and maintain product knowledge and understanding to ensure you become the SME for the software services. Liaise with relevant teams to interpret how the platform is currently used and key selling points in each key market. Contribute to the development of a short-term and long-term product strategy for the company, including recommending additions and/or changes to offerings. Build and maintain knowledge of competitor activity in the market and any insights relevant to the company.
- Relationship Management: Establish, develop, and maintain strong professional sales relationships with current sales partners across all networks, including Sales Science. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer prospects as they are identified in the sales process. Build and maintain strong working relationships with business leaders across the organization, ensuring effective delivery of marketing activities. Maintain effective internal stakeholder relationships, ensuring strong levels of communication and sales progress updates as required.
- Marketing: Work with the Marketing Team to develop effective product sales collateral and ensure the content remains current. Work with the Marketing Team to promote the services in the broader market. Work with the Marketing Team to promote our software services through company integration partners. Travel when needed to relevant events to represent the company at varying professional conferences. Source marketing and promotional material required for events and promotion.
- Continuous Improvement: Work with the COO and other Operating Partners to develop and implement a continuous improvement program of initiatives, focusing on adding value and evolving sales functions. Actively contribute to the development and maintenance of a strong team culture within the business, ensuring knowledge and experience are shared. Timely escalate challenges, issues, and business risks to the COO for anything and everything sales-related.
- Professional Development: Proactively seek out relevant professional networking opportunities to develop both your personal profile and the company profile in the market. Maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of sales trends, products, and solutions available in the market. Proactively gain and maintain sales and industry knowledge via external channels, reading relevant blogs/online content, and attending industry network events and conferences.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant business discipline is required.
- 4+ years of SaaS sales and account management experience.
- 4+ years of stakeholder management experience.
- 4+ years of proven (successful) experience in new business development, specifically in SaaS or PSA software sales.
- 4+ years of (proven) success in the development, management, and execution of sales pipelines, specifically trial through to customer processes.
- 4+ years of proven (successful) sales experience, specifically in the Software as a Service (SaaS) Industry.
- Strong understanding of professional services and the PSA software industry.
- Strong experience coordinating and delivering webinars and other online and in-person demonstrations for prospective customers.
- Experience managing sales partner relationships.
- Strong business development and sales aptitude and experience.
- Excellent customer service skills and ethics.
- Proven record in developing strong customer, client, and partner relationships.
- Ability to run demonstrations and workshops.
- The energy and enthusiasm to work hard and play hard in a team-based environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to multi-task, excellent time management skills, and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to provide enthusiasm for everyday duties as well as other varied duties.
