Hours: Standard 45 hours per week, with 1.5 times the hourly pay for overtime.

About the Job

We are S.P. Landscapes & Tree Contractors, a long-running family business that specialises in all aspects of tree work, grounds maintenance and landscaping for both domestic and commercial clients. We are an ARB Approved Contractor with the Arboricultural Association and ensure that all of our work is carried out to the highest standards and is compliant with British Standard 3998:2010. We hold a number of other quality and safety accreditations to give our clients peace of mind that they are working with a contractor they can trust. We are also an equal opportunities employer.

The successful candidate will need to be reliable, hard-working and work well within a team.

Qualifications Required

  • As a minimum, any applicants must hold a full driving licence and the following qualifications:
  • Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross Cutting
  • Felling and Processing Trees up to 380mm
  • Tree Climbing and Rescue
  • Aerial Cutting of Trees with a Chainsaw using Free Fall Techniques
  • 2 years’ experience in the industry utilising the above qualifications
  • Aerial Tree Rigging
  • Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs)
  • Trailer Towing

All Personal Protective Equipment and Health & Safety training will be provided by the company.
