Summary of Duties: The role requires you to undertakewelding and fabrication tasksto support operations and the maintenance department. As aWelder/Fabricatorat S Norton you will work on mobile plant such as material handling cranes and wheel loading shovels and their attachments, heavy static plantsuch as shears, balers, shredders, conveyor systems, metal sorting equipment, mobile plant and other relevant equipment used within themetal recycling industry, plus other fabrication as required.. Key Responsibilities: To carry out planned and breakdown maintenance on a variety of plant andequipment. Fabricating and welding. MIG and Stick (MMA) welding. Checking work and inspecting work. Ability to work from technical drawings.
