Key Responsibilities : β’ To notify the line manager of any anomalies, defects or concerns with the weighbridge β’ To ensure all drivers and visitors are wearing appropriate PPE β’ To ensure vehicles are not overloaded β’ To notify a senior manager of any vehicles containing material that needs to be directed to a quarantine area β’ To direct vehicles to appropriate unloading areas via the yardman on duty at the time β’ To weigh vehicles on and off site using computer based weighbridge software β’ To enter details of scrap vehicles onto the computer based FADS vehicle de-registering system β’ To ensure all directions and/or notifications highlighted by FADS are adhered to, ensuring no stolen vehicles are accepted for destruction β’ To inform the site manager of any stolen vehicle notifications β’ To complete all documentation relating to the weighbridge and its associated processes and procedures, including but not limited to a daily record of materials in and out of the site β’ To make electronic payments as required β’ To communicate effectively with yard workers, vehicle drivers and other visitors to the site β’ To maintain the weighbridge office in a clean and tidy condition β’ To attend progress meetings with your line manager or other members of the senior management team as necessary β’ To carry out any additional duties that may be reasonably requested from time to time β’ To comply with Company policies and procedures as defined in the Employee Manual and the post
