About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Team Leader to join a residential elderly care setting located in Froxfield, supporting older adults and ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate and person-centred care. This role is suitable for candidates commuting from Froxfield, Petersfield, Alton, Bordon, Waterlooville, Winchester, Farnham and surrounding areas.
As an experienced Team Leader, you will be responsible for supporting and leading a team of care staff while ensuring consistently high standards of care are maintained. You will play a key role in leading shifts, supporting staff, mentoring team members and promoting the dignity, independence and wellbeing of residents. You will be involved in supporting care delivery, administering medication, completing care plans and documentation, and working closely with families, healthcare professionals and the wider care team to achieve the best possible outcomes for residents.
Requirements:
- A positive, caring and compassionate approach to delivering high-quality care
- Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care, or equivalent/higher qualification
- Previous experience working within a residential or nursing home setting
- Previous experience in a Senior Care Assistant, Care Supervisor or Team Leader role
- Experience with medication administration
- Understanding of safeguarding, CQC standards and relevant care regulations
- Experience completing care plans and care documentation
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Ability to lead, support and motivate a care team
- A motivated, flexible and proactive approach to work
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK without sponsorship
