Team Leader - Elderly Care
Location: Froxfield
Salary: £15.00 – £16.00 per hour
Bonus: £500 Joining Bonus
Hours: 3 or 4 shifts per week – 12‑hour shifts (Days or Nights Available)
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Team Leader to join a residential elderly care setting in Froxfield. You will support and lead a team of care staff, ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate and person‑centred care every day.
This role is ideal for an experienced Senior Care Assistant or Team Leader looking to take the next step in their career. You will play a key role in supporting staff, maintaining high care standards, and promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead shifts and support care delivery
- Mentor team members and support development
- Complete documentation and administer medication
- Work alongside families and healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for residents
Requirements
- Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent/higher qualification)
- Previous experience working within a residential or nursing home setting
- Previous experience in a Senior Care Assistant, Supervisor or Team Leader role
- Experience with medication administration
- Understanding of safeguarding, CQC standards and care regulations
- Experience completing care plans and care documentation
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Ability to support and motivate a care team
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
