About the Role

SNG Healthcare is expanding its temporary staffing team and is currently recruiting compassionate and reliable Support Workers and Care Assistants to work across adult supported living services in Lymington. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced care professionals seeking flexibility, consistent shifts, and the chance to make a genuine impact in the lives of vulnerable individuals.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support
  • Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing
  • Support individuals with daily living activities
  • Offer emotional and behavioural support where required
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a professional care team

Shift Patterns Available

  • Day shifts
  • Night shifts
  • 12-hour long day shifts
  • Sleep-in shifts
  • Weekday and weekend availability

Key Responsibilities

  • Support service users with personal care and daily routines including administering medication
  • Encourage independence
  • Provide emotional reassurance and support
  • Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment
  • Follow care plans and organisational policies
  • Accurately record and report information as required

Requirements

Essential:

  • Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach
  • Current DBS registered on the update service
  • Completed mandatory training including a Care Certificate
  • Ability to work flexible shifts
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in care or support work
  • Experience within residential or supported living settings
  • Understanding of safeguarding and person-centred care
