Learning Support Assistant (LSA) β Autism & Complex Needs β Southampton
SNG Healthcare is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to support a young person with Autism and complex learning needs within a specialist 2:1 package in his home environment in Southampton
Hours: 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday
This is a rewarding opportunity to support a young person who has been out of education for an extended period and requires consistent support to access learning, develop independence, and engage in meaningful activities.

Essential Requirements
- Experience supporting children or young people with Autism and/or SEND
- Understanding of positive behaviour support approaches
- Ability to support individuals who may experience periods of dysregulation
- Good communication and observational skills
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Desirable
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Autism-specific training
- Team Teach, PRICE, MAPA or equivalent
- Experience in specialist education, outreach services, or social care settings
Duties will include supporting learning activities, promoting engagement, assisting with community-based opportunities, maintaining records, and supporting personal care where required.
Enhanced DBS required.
