About the Role
We are looking for experienced Community Care Workers to support individuals living within their own homes across Southampton and the surrounding areas. This role is suitable for candidates commuting from Southampton, Totton, Hedge End, Bitterne, Woolston, Sholing, Thornhill, Weston, Netley, Hamble, Eastleigh, Chandlers Ford, Romsey, Hythe, Marchwood and surrounding areas.
As an experienced Community Care Worker, you will provide safe, compassionate, and person-centred care that enables individuals to remain independent within their own homes and local communities. You will support people with personal care, medication, meal preparation, companionship and community access while promoting dignity, choice, and independence. You will play an important role in maintaining high standards of care, safeguarding and professionalism whilst building positive relationships with the people you support and the services you work within.
Requirements

- Minimum 6 months' UK care experience within community or home care.
- Full UK driving licence essential.
- Access to your own reliable vehicle.
- Practical Manual Handling certificate (completed within the last 12 months).
- Medication Administration training (completed within the last 12 months).
- Enhanced DBS certificate issued within the last 12 months or registered with the DBS Update Service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
