Please note: We do not hold licences to support overseas candidates. You must have a minimum of 6 months’ UK experience working as a Children’s Support Worker or supporting children and young people.
About the Role:
We are looking for experienced Children’s Support Workers to join services located across New Milton and Lymington, supporting children and young people with a range of needs.
This role is suitable for candidates commuting from New Milton, Lymington, Brockenhurst, Christchurch, Highcliffe and surrounding areas.
As an experienced Children’s Support Worker, you will be responsible for delivering safe, effective and person-centred support while working closely with colleagues to maintain a supportive and professional team culture.
You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of safeguarding, professional practice and compliance, while supporting children and young people in line with their individual care plans, needs and service requirements.
Requirements:
- A positive, caring and compassionate approach to delivering high-quality support
- Minimum of 6 months’ UK experience supporting children and young people
- Experience working within children’s services, residential care or a similar setting
- Good understanding of safeguarding children and young people
- Confidence supporting children and young people who may present with behaviours that challenge
- Ability to use appropriate de-escalation approaches
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- A motivated, flexible and proactive approach to work
- Ability to maintain clear and appropriate professional boundaries
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK without s p o n s o r s h i p
