About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Team Leader to join a residential elderly care setting in Alton. You will be responsible for supporting and leading a team of care staff, ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate and person‑centred care every day. This role is ideal for an experienced Senior Care Assistant or Team Leader looking to take the next step in their career. You will play a key role in supporting staff, maintaining high care standards, and promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing for residents. You will be involved in leading shifts, supporting care delivery, mentoring team members, completing documentation, administering medication, and working alongside families and healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for residents.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent/higher qualification)
- Previous experience working within a residential or nursing home setting
- Previous experience in a Senior Care Assistant, Supervisor or Team Leader role
- Experience with medication administration
- Understanding of safeguarding, CQC standards and care regulations
- Experience completing care plans and care documentation
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Ability to support and motivate a care team
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
