The predicted salary is between 28 - 30 £ per hour.

Hours: 40 hours per week, Term Time Only

Salary: £14.50-£14.80 per hour (salary is pro-rated but paid evenly over 12 months)

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils’ learning and development in a welcoming and inclusive school environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to provide support for pupils’ educational, emotional, and social progress – helping every child achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the aims and ethos of the school.
  • Set a positive example in dress, punctuality, and attendance.
  • Attend staff, curriculum, and subject meetings as required.
  • Promote the welfare and safeguarding of pupils in line with school policies.
  • Inspire trust and confidence in pupils and colleagues.
  • Foster teamwork and motivation within the classroom.
  • Maintain good order and discipline among pupils, ensuring their safety.
  • Be proactive in matters of Health and Safety.
  • Organise and manage small groups or individual pupils effectively.
  • Contribute to improving the quality of learning and the School Development Plan (SDP).
  • Support the implementation of school policies and improvement plans.
  • Use performance management and feedback to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
