Hours: Full-Time

Shifts: Monday - Friday

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join a specialist neurological service in Basingstoke, supporting adults living with acquired brain injuries, spinal injuries, stroke, early onset dementia and progressive neurological conditions. This role is suitable for candidates commuting from Basingstoke, Hook, Andover, Winchester, Alton, Fleet, Farnborough, Reading and surrounding areas.

As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred Speech and Language Therapy services to residents within a specialist neurorehabilitation environment.

Requirements:

  • A recognised degree or qualification in Speech and Language Therapy approved by HCPC
  • Current and unrestricted HCPC registration
  • Experience working within a specialist neurological care or neurorehabilitation environment
  • Experience assessing and differentially diagnosing communication and swallowing difficulties
  • Experience developing person-centred therapy programmes and care plans
  • Knowledge and experience supporting individuals with complex communication needs
  • Experience supporting individuals with swallowing difficulties and modified diets
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A compassionate, proactive and person-centred approach
  • Ability to manage a diverse and demanding caseload
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK without sponsorship
