Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum

Hours: Full-Time permanent position

Please note: We do not hold licences to support overseas candidates. You must have previous experience within children’s residential care and meet Ofsted requirements for a Registered Manager.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a specialist children’s residential home in the Andover area, supporting young people aged 9–18 with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs including ASD, ADHD, PTSD, and trauma-related behaviours.

As Registered Manager, you will take responsibility for the day to day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance in line with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards. You will lead and develop a dedicated team, work collaboratively with therapists and external professionals, and ensure a safe, therapeutic, and nurturing environment where young people can thrive and achieve positive outcomes. Requirements:

  • A positive, caring, and compassionate approach to supporting young people
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and organisational skills
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a senior role within children's residential in the last 5 years
  • At least 1 year experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge and commitment to child protection
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK without sponsorship

Desirable:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards)
  • Previous experience as Designated Safeguarding Lead
  • Experience writing reports and attending reviews
