Head of Solution & Platform Architecture
London – Hybrid 2–3 days per week | Permanent | £130,000 - £160,000 + up to 30% bonus
We are recruiting a Head of Solution & Platform Architecture to lead and transform the architecture capability within a large, complex global enterprise.
This is not a traditional Enterprise Architect role . We need someone who has genuinely led an architecture function and turned technology strategy into practical transformation.
The role has a strong infrastructure, cloud and platform focus , but candidates must also understand applications and integration and how the different technology domains work together.
Key experience:
Leadership of a Solution / Platform / Infrastructure Architecture function
Strong infrastructure, cloud and platform architecture background
Good applications and integration architecture awareness with a focus on user experience
Large enterprise technology environments
Design Authority, standards, patterns and architecture governance
Cloud and legacy-estate modernisation
Technology simplification and rationalisation
Automation and modern engineering approaches
Moving architecture towards Agile / product-led delivery
Evidence of building or transforming an architecture capability and continuing to run it
The successful person will be a transformational architecture leader , not simply a senior Enterprise Architect focused on strategy and governance.
London hybrid, normally 2–3 days per week. Unrestricted UK Right to Work required.
