London - Hybrid 2-3 days per week | Permanent | Up to £160,000 + 30% bonus
We are recruiting a Head of Digital Platform Enablement to own the strategy, roadmap, lifecycle and business outcomes for the shared platforms that underpin technology delivery across a large global enterprise.
The role is effectively the Product Owner for Digital Platform Enablement and spans three core pillars: ServiceNow / service management platforms, observability / monitoring, and developer / engineering platforms.
The client is moving from a traditional project-led, design-build-run model towards a product-centric, agile and continuously improving organisation. They need someone who has owned these capabilities over time, not simply implemented individual tools.
Key Skills/ Experience for the Head of Digital Platform Enablement role:
· Meaningful ownership of ServiceNow / service management platforms, workflows, automation and self-service
· Observability strategy across user experience, applications, cloud, infrastructure and networks
· Developer platforms and tooling including Azure DevOps and/or GitHub
· CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Terraform/Bicep, reusable templates and engineering guardrails
· Platform engineering, developer experience and automation
· Product strategy, platform roadmaps, investment prioritisation and lifecycle ownership
· Establishing standards, reusable components and consistent software delivery practices
· Leading transformation from project-led delivery towards product-centric / platform operating models
