I am recruiting a Compliance Analyst to join the internal Risk & Compliance function of a large international organisation. The successful candidate will have gained their experience within professional services or another non-financial corporate environment, such as legal, consulting, accountancy, technology, healthcare, energy, retail, media or a general commercial organisation.
Please note: This is not a banking, investment management, KYC/AML, transaction monitoring, remediation or financial-crime operations role. This is a broad, hands-on corporate compliance role covering anti-bribery and corruption, sanctions, conflicts, investigations, policies, monitoring and internal business-conduct queries.
The Compliance Analyst will support the day-to-day operation of the function, combining practical compliance work with detailed administration, record keeping and action tracking.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to internal Risk & Compliance and business-conduct queries
- Support ABC, sanctions, conflicts, gifts and hospitality processes
- Maintain accurate compliance records, trackers and action logs
- Assist with investigations, monitoring, audits and follow-up actions
- Update policies, procedures, guidance and training materials
- Around 3-8 years relevant compliance experience
- Experience within an internal Risk, Compliance, Ethics or Business Conduct function
- Exposure to several areas of corporate compliance, such as ABC, sanctions, conflicts, investigations, policies, monitoring or training
- Strong administration, organisation and attention to detail
- Confident written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable undertaking both substantive compliance work and detailed operational support
The role would suit a Compliance Analyst, Compliance Officer or experienced Compliance Coordinator who remains hands-on and is comfortable supporting both higher-level compliance activity and more routine administrative work. The successful Compliance Analyst will join a collaborative international team and work with employees, managers and senior stakeholders across the organisation.
