A product-led financial technology organisation is hiring a Product Owner to support the ongoing development of Order Management Systems / OMS and trading platforms used within the asset and wealth management sector.

This is a delivery-focused Product Owner role, working closely with engineering, QA and stakeholders to shape and deliver enhancements across order lifecycle, execution and trading workflows. The role suits someone with strong financial markets exposure who enjoys turning requirements into high-quality, production-ready outcomes.

Key Skills / Experience
  • Owning and prioritising a backlog across order lifecycle, execution and trading-related workflows
  • Translating business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Working closely with development and QA teams through build, test and release
  • Supporting agile ceremonies, demos and stakeholder updates
  • Contributing to continuous improvement across OMS and trading platform functionality
What we're looking for
  • Must have - Experience as a Product Owner within financial services, fintech or investment technology
  • Working knowledge of Order Management Systems or trading workflows, including order lifecycle and execution concepts
  • Experience working with OMS or trading platforms (buy-side, sell-side or vendor systems) is strongly preferred, though candidates with clear OMS or trading-domain knowledge will also be considered
  • Comfortable working in an agile delivery environment
  • Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders

This role is best suited to candidates with exposure to trading or order-driven financial systems, rather than payments, compliance, CRM or purely digital platforms.

Package

A basic salary of up to £90,000, plus bonus, private healthcare, life assurance and a contributory pension. Hybrid working from a Central London office (12 days per week), with occasional overseas travel.
