About us S L Homecare supports adults to live safely and independently at home. We're growing and looking for a hands-on Team Leader to support our care teams, uphold quality, and deliver brilliant client outcomes.
What you'll do:
- Lead, coach and rota a team of Care Workers; complete supervisions and spot checks
- Complete client assessments/reviews and update care & risk plans
- Ensure safe practice: medication checks, infection control, safeguarding, H&S
- Respond to day-to-day service issues; participate in the on-call rota
- Build great relationships with clients, families, and professionals
- Maintain accurate records (e-rostering/care systems) and contribute to audits
About you:
- Experienced in domiciliary/home care with strong people-leadership skills
- Confident with care planning, risk assessment, and quality standards
- Calm problem-solver with excellent communication and organisation
- UK driving licence & access to a vehicle (essential)
Qualifications:
- NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
- Level 2 considered with strong experience
