The Role
As an HR Professional Teaching Assessor, you will deliver and assess HR Support Level 3 and People Professional Level 5 Apprenticeship standards to learners employed across a range of organisations. You’ll manage a caseload of learners, guiding them throughout their apprenticeship journey through coaching, teaching, assessment, and employer engagement. Delivery will be a mix of remote learning, one-to-one visits, and group sessions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering engaging and compliant apprenticeship training programmes
- Supporting learners to achieve timely completion and progression outcomes
- Conducting learner reviews, assessments, and coaching sessions
- Building strong relationships with employers and stakeholders
- Embedding inclusive learning practices aligned to Ofsted expectations
- Supporting learners with Maths and English development where required
- Maintaining accurate learner records using e-portfolio systems
- Ensuring compliance with apprenticeship funding and quality standards
- Promoting safeguarding, Prevent, British Values, equality, diversity and inclusion throughout delivery
- Contributing to quality improvement activities, standardisation meetings, and inspection readiness
This is a peripatetic role requiring travel across assigned geographical areas depending on learner and employer needs.
Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for an experienced HR professional with a passion for teaching, coaching, and learner development. You will ideally have:
- CIPD Level 5 Associate status and/or Level 5 Diploma in People Management
- A recognised teaching qualification at Level 5 or equivalent
- Assessing qualification such as D32/33, A1, or equivalent
- Experience delivering HR apprenticeship standards and work-based learning programmes
- Strong understanding of apprenticeship compliance, learner support, and End Point Assessment
- Experience embedding inclusive practices and supporting SEND or vulnerable learners
- Functional Skills Maths and English delivery experience
- Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to manage learner caseloads effectively and achieve performance targets
- Confidence using e-portfolio systems and Microsoft Office applications
- A full willingness to travel as required
