The Role
As an AI Engineer, you’ll design and scale intelligent systems that evaluate knowledge and skills accurately and efficiently.
Your work will include:
- Developing AI-driven assessment pipelines using structured data and evaluation criteria
- Building evaluation frameworks, datasets, and testing methodologies
- Working with LLM workflows, focusing on performance, cost, and reliability
- Applying statistical techniques to validate improvements
- Contributing to systems that handle text, image, and video inputs

The Ideal Candidate
You’re an experienced AI/ML engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and takes pride in building systems that are robust and maintainable.
You’ll likely have:
- Around 4+ years’ experience in AI/ML engineering (or a relevant PhD with industry exposure)
- A track record of delivering end-to-end ML systems in production
- Strong Python programming skills, with experience building reliable backend systems and APIs
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and modern AI workflows
- Experience with evaluation frameworks and model optimisation
- Familiarity with testing, observability, and experimentation practices
- Experience deploying to cloud environments (AWS preferred)
- A solid understanding of fairness, privacy, and model integrity
- Confidence working in a fast-paced, small team
