The Role
As a Hospitality & Employability Tutor, you will equip learners with the practical, vocational and professional competencies required to succeed in hospitality roles and beyond. You will:
- Deliver engaging vocational learning in food & beverage, customer service, front-of-house and hospitality operations
- Embed employability skills such as CV development, interview readiness, communication, workplace standards and professional conduct
- Support learners to build confidence, sector knowledge and work-ready behaviours
- Deliver training across classroom, onsite and blended environments
- Tailor learning to diverse needs and ensure all learners progress successfully
- Work closely with employers to ensure training reflects current industry standards and workforce needs
Ideal Candidate
You will be experienced in hospitality environments (hotels, restaurants, catering or guest services) and passionate about supporting people into long-term employment. You will also have:
- A teaching / coaching qualification (PTLLS, AET, Cert Ed, PGCE or equivalent)
- Strong communication, coaching and delivery skills
- A learner-first, motivational approach
- Ability to support a diverse range of learners into sustainable vocational outcomes
- Experience delivering functional, employability, or vocational training (desirable but not essential)
