The Role

As a Learner Engagement Officer, you will focus on attracting, engaging, and supporting learners from initial contact through to enrolment. This is a hands-on, outreach-driven role where building relationships and engaging individuals is key to success.

Key responsibilities:

  • Promote adult education and employability programmes within local communities
  • Recruit learners onto AEB-funded courses
  • Conduct initial engagement, assessments, and eligibility checks
  • Support learners through the enrolment process
  • Build relationships with job centres and referral partners
  • Attend community events and outreach activities
  • Maintain accurate records of learner engagement and recruitment activity
