The Role
As a Learner Engagement Officer, you will focus on attracting, engaging, and supporting learners from initial contact through to enrolment. This is a hands-on, outreach-driven role where building relationships and engaging individuals is key to success.
Key responsibilities:
- Promote adult education and employability programmes within local communities
- Recruit learners onto AEB-funded courses
- Conduct initial engagement, assessments, and eligibility checks
- Support learners through the enrolment process
- Build relationships with job centres and referral partners
- Attend community events and outreach activities
- Maintain accurate records of learner engagement and recruitment activity
