About the Job
As a Learner Engagement & Stakeholder Engagement professional, you’ll play a key role in driving learner recruitment and engagement across Adult Education Budget (AEB) programmes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building, nurturing, and maintaining strong relationships with referral partners and stakeholders, including Job Centres and community organisations
- Identifying and engaging unemployed learners onto AEB courses and employability programmes
- Acting as a key point of contact for learners and partners, providing high-quality information, advice, and guidance
- Supporting the development and delivery of innovative learner engagement strategies to meet monthly targets and KPIs
- Organising and coordinating engagement events, outreach activities, and learner-focused initiatives
- Monitoring and evaluating engagement activity, producing reports and recommendations to improve outcomes
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date learner records
- Supporting learners throughout their journey by offering guidance, encouragement, and practical support
- Keeping up to date with sector policies, procedures, and funding requirements
- Assisting with additional duties as required to support the wider team
Ideal Candidate
You’ll be someone who thrives on relationship-building and believes in the power of education to transform lives. Ideally, you will bring:
- An IAG qualification (or a strong commitment to working towards one)
- Experience within the employability or adult education sector, particularly AEB programmes and bootcamps
- Proven experience in learner engagement, outreach, or stakeholder management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work with external partners
- Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and general digital literacy
- A solid understanding of adult education, employability services, and learner support
