The Role

As the Product Developer, you will be at the heart of qualification and assessment design, leading the development, enhancement, and compliance of products across a diverse portfolio.

Your role will include:

• Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts to design and refine qualifications aligned to industry and regulatory standards
• Ensuring full compliance with Ofqual conditions and wider EPAO/awarding requirements, including DfE and Skills England
• Managing timelines, budgets, and delivery milestones for qualification development projects
• Producing key documentation such as assessment strategies, centre guides, and sample materials
• Using data insights to review product performance and drive improvements
• Identifying opportunities for expansion and responding to emerging skills needs

Ideal Candidate

You’ll bring expertise in qualification development, along with a proactive and analytical mindset.

To thrive in this role, you will need:

• Experience working within an EPAO, awarding body, or similar qualification development environment
• Strong understanding of assessment and qualification design
• Proven project management capabilities (APM‑PMQ, PRINCE2 desirable)
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and documentation abilities
• Confidence working collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Adaptability, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality
