Our client is a leading training provider dedicated to empowering learners, and they are looking for a passionate Health and Social Care Trainer to join their dynamic team. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, engaging training programs for students pursuing qualifications in Health and Social Care. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional in the field who is eager to inspire and develop the next generation of care workers and health professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver Engaging Training: Lead interactive, practical, and informative sessions for learners studying Health and Social Care courses (Level 5).
- Use a variety of teaching methods to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
- Develop Course Materials: Work closely with the academic team to create, review, and update training materials that reflect current industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assess Learners: Monitor and assess student progress, including coursework, practical assessments, and exams. Provide constructive feedback to help learners develop and improve their skills.
- Support Learners: Provide one-on-one support to students, offering advice, guidance, and mentorship as they navigate their studies and career development. Encourage a positive, inclusive learning environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in Health and Social Care: You should have substantial experience working in health and social care settings, with previous experience in managing a care home.
- Teaching or Training Experience: Teaching and Assessing qualification is essential (e.g., PTLLS, AET, CAVA, TAQA or equivalent) and a Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care.
