Job Title: Head of Training and Quality Location: Remote with occasional travel to the office Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum The Opportunity: Are you an accomplished leader with a passion for delivering high-quality training and fostering team excellence? We are looking for a proactive Head of Training and Quality to oversee our apprenticeship programmes and ensure learners achieve exceptional outcomes. This role focuses on enhancing delivery standards, driving operational efficiency, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement. As a senior leader, you will shape the success of training delivery by mentoring staff, developing curriculum frameworks, and maintaining compliance with regulatory bodies. Key Responsibilities: * Inspire and manage a team of training professionals, ensuring effective performance and delivery of apprenticeship programmes. * Oversee the design and execution of engaging training curricula, ensuring alignment with industry standards and learner needs. * Collaborate with internal teams to implement growth strategies that expand training provision and support employer engagement. * Maintain compliance with external quality frameworks, including ESFA requirements and OFSTED standards. * Monitor learner progress, address barriers to achievement, and implement intervention plans where necessary. * Develop and manage robust quality assurance processes, ensuring continuous improvements across training delivery. * Lead on team recruitment, induction, performance reviews, and ongoing professional development to build a highly skilled workforce. * Act as the operational lead during OFSTED inspections, ensuring readiness and showcasing best practices. * Analyse performance data and feedback to identify trends, implement improvements, and produce accurate reports for senior leadership. * Uphold safeguarding, Prevent, and welfare practices to support a safe and inclusive learning environment. * Champion a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and excellence across the organisation. What You’ll Bring: * Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing teams to meet targets and deliver high standards. * Knowledge of regulatory expectations, including OFSTED requirements and ESFA funding rules. * Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to implement systems and processes effectively. * Exceptional communication and people management skills, including performance coaching and conflict resolution. * Proficiency in using learning management systems or e-portfolios such as OneFile or Aptem. * Analytical skills to interpret performance data, identify improvements, and drive decision-making. * A commitment to professional development and a proactive approach to managing change. * Flexibility to travel occasionally as required.
