The Role

• Build the apprenticeship division from the ground up, including strategy, systems, and processes
• Lead on the design and launch of apprenticeship programmes that meet employer demand
• Ensure compliance with Ofsted and funding regulators from the outset
• Develop strong partnerships with employers, stakeholders, and awarding bodies
• Drive quality, growth, and sustainability across the apprenticeship offer
• Recruit, lead, and inspire a new team, embedding a culture of excellence and accountability
• Report to senior leadership on progress, risks, and opportunities

The Ideal Candidate

• Significant experience in apprenticeship leadership, ideally launching or expanding provision
• Deep knowledge of Ofsted, funding rules, and compliance frameworks
• A proven track record of developing high-quality apprenticeship programmes
• Commercial awareness with the ability to align provision to employer and learner needs
• Strategic vision, resilience, and the ability to work autonomously in a start-up style environment
• Inspirational leadership skills to build and grow a high-performing team from scratch
