About the Job
As a Financial Trainer, you will deliver and support the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Advice / Paraplanning Apprenticeship Standard, guiding learners through their development journey from onboarding to End Point Assessment preparation. You’ll deliver engaging training through a blend of remote learning, one-to-one coaching, and workplace support, helping apprentices develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required for success within the financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver training across Financial Services, Regulated Financial Planning, and Paraplanning Apprenticeships
- Support learners through coaching, teaching, and assessment activities
- Prepare learners for examinations and End Point Assessment (EPA)
- Deliver remote and workplace-based training sessions
- Develop engaging curriculum content and learning materials
- Monitor learner progress and maintain compliant learner documentation
- Support achievement, retention, and progression targets
- Ensure delivery aligns with Ofsted standards, apprenticeship compliance, and awarding body requirements
- Embed employability skills, safeguarding, Prevent, and Equality & Diversity within delivery
- Work collaboratively with employers and internal quality teams
Ideal Candidate
You’ll be an experienced Financial Services professional with strong industry knowledge and a passion for teaching, coaching, and learner development. You will have:
- Extensive experience within the Financial Services sector
- A Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or Paraplanning
- A recognised teaching qualification such as CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, AET, or equivalent
- A recognised assessor qualification such as TAQA, A1, D32/D33, or CAVA
- Strong communication and learner engagement skills
- Ability to explain complex financial concepts in an engaging and accessible way
- Good organisational, administrative, and IT skills
Desirable:
- Experience delivering Financial Services Apprenticeship Standards
- Knowledge of Functional Skills, safeguarding, e-portfolio systems, and apprenticeship compliance
- Chartered Financial Planner status or CeMAP qualification
- Experience within the Further Education, Apprenticeships, or Skills sector
