Our client is an Ofsted Grade 2 provider with over 30 years of experience in helping individuals secure jobs, gain qualifications, and receive training. As an employment advisor, you will be responsible for the attraction, registration, and progression of participants to achieve placements. Employment Advisors will deliver services at fixed locations, co-location sites, and community venues, adhering to strict targets and guidelines., Promote our client as a leading choice in Welfare to Work.
Build and maintain relationships with referral partners, including Jobcentre Plus.
Provide briefings and marketing materials, support outreach activities, and conduct introductory calls.
Tailor communications to participant needs, confirm assessment attendance, and manage registrations.
Conduct Initial Assessments, use tools like Better Off Calculations, and address barriers.
Manage participant expectations, collaborate with partners, and refer participants to appropriate support services.
Develop and manage job goals, assist with readiness assessments, and conduct health reviews or refer to specialists as needed.
Facilitate group training sessions and manage employer relationships for successful placements.
Experience in a target driven role such an an Employment Advisor, Recruitment Consultant or Business Development role.
Experience in customer-facing roles and performance-driven environments.
Minimum Level 2 English and Maths, plus 2 A-Levels or equivalent Level 3 Diploma.
Desirable: Experience in fast-paced roles, exposure to diverse client groups, and relevant qualifications (e.g., psychology, sociology, NVQ Level 3/4 in Advice & Guidance).
Fluency in community languages (e.g., Mandarin, Urdu, Punjabi, Arabic) is a plus.
