The Role
As an Employment Advisor, you will help individuals unlock their potential and take meaningful steps towards employment. You will:
*
Manage a caseload of participants, conducting tailored assessments and action planning.
*
Deliver personalised coaching and employability sessions to build confidence and job readiness.
*
Support participants with CV writing, job applications, and interview preparation.
*
Build partnerships with local employers to create sustainable job opportunities.
*
Provide in-work support to help individuals remain in employment.
*
Collaborate with partner agencies and internal teams to maximise outcomes.
*
Maintain accurate records and performance tracking in line with compliance standards.
About You
You’ll bring empathy, resilience, and a results-driven mindset. Ideally, you have:
*
Experience in employability, coaching, mentoring, or delivering Information, Advice & Guidance (IAG).
*
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*
Knowledge of local labour markets and employer engagement.
*
Experience in achieving outcomes in a target-driven environment.
*
A Level 3 IAG qualification (or willingness to work towards it).
*
Confidence with IT systems and Microsoft Office.
*
Welsh language skills (desirable).
