The Role
As a Curriculum Development Manager, you will play a key role in course development, learning design, and academic support. You will collaborate with external course developers, content partners, and training centre teams to enhance and expand the organisation’s diverse course portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of new courses and programs.
- Represent the organisation in curriculum and service partnerships, exploring new collaborations.
- Coordinate with awarding bodies, external course developers, and content providers.
- Manage freelance course developers, negotiating project fees and timelines.
- Guide instructional design discussions to enhance learning experiences.
- Provide academic and practical support to colleagues and managers across the centres.
- Maintain and update the course catalogue, ensuring content remains relevant and high-quality.
- Assist the marketing team with course documentation and materials.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for an experienced curriculum development professional with a strong background in adult education. The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in curriculum development and project management.
- Teaching experience with adult learners.
- Knowledge of the UK education framework and standards.
- Understanding of government funding mechanisms for education in the UK and Ireland.
