About the Job

As Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) – Property Maintenance, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity, consistency, and compliance of assessment practice across qualifications and/or apprenticeship standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring and supporting assessors to ensure consistent, high-quality assessment decisions
• Conducting sampling, verification, and standardisation activities
• Providing structured feedback, coaching, and developmental guidance
• Ensuring compliance with awarding body, EPAO, and regulatory requirements
• Maintaining robust IQA documentation and audit trails
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and inspection readiness
• Working closely with delivery and quality teams to embed best practice

This is a fully remote freelance role, offering flexibility while maintaining strategic quality impact.

The Ideal Candidate

You will be a quality-driven professional with strong occupational credibility and a methodical approach to compliance.

Essential

• Occupational competence and industry experience in Property Maintenance or a related construction trade
• Recognised IQA qualification (TAQA, D34, V1, Level 4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance or equivalent)
• Experience quality assuring vocational qualifications and/or apprenticeships
• Strong understanding of awarding body, EPAO, and regulatory frameworks
• Excellent communication and coaching capability
• Organised, detail-oriented, and audit-ready mindset
