About the Job

As Quality and Curriculum Manager, you will take responsibility for driving quality assurance and curriculum excellence across apprenticeship and funded learning provision. Working closely with delivery teams and senior leaders, you will ensure programmes remain compliant, engaging, and aligned with funding requirements while supporting outstanding learner experiences and outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading quality improvement initiatives across apprenticeship and funded programmes
  • Designing, developing, and reviewing curriculum to ensure relevance, compliance, and effectiveness
  • Monitoring and evaluating teaching, learning, and assessment performance
  • Supporting managers and delivery teams to achieve quality and performance targets
  • Conducting quality assurance activities, audits, observations, and standardisation exercises
  • Managing curriculum development projects from design through to implementation
  • Ensuring programmes align with apprenticeship standards and Adult Skills Fund (ASF) requirements
  • Producing quality reports, action plans, and performance analysis for senior leadership
  • Supporting preparation for external audits, inspections, and funding compliance reviews
  • Driving a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and best practice across the organisation

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an experienced quality and curriculum professional who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on operational expertise. You will ideally have:

  • Experience within apprenticeships, apprenticeship quality assurance, and funded learning provision
  • Strong knowledge of Adult Skills Fund (ASF) requirements and funding compliance
  • Proven experience writing, developing, and implementing curriculum
  • Experience overseeing curriculum quality and continuous improvement initiatives
  • A strong understanding of teaching, learning, and assessment best practice
  • Experience conducting quality assurance activities, observations, and audits
  • Knowledge of Ofsted requirements and inspection readiness
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and reporting skills
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities
  • A passion for learner success and educational excellence
