The Role

As a Lean & Warehouse Tutor, you will deliver engaging, practical training across warehouse operations, logistics, and continuous improvement methodologies. You’ll support learners on AEB-funded programmes, helping them build both technical knowledge and employability skills required in modern warehouse environments.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver training in warehouse operations, logistics, and Lean principles
  • Introduce and coach learners on tools such as 5S, Kaizen, waste reduction, and root cause analysis
  • Support learners working towards recognised vocational qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, Pearson, EAL)
  • Monitor learner progress and provide structured feedback and coaching
  • Conduct reviews and ensure delivery aligns with Ofsted and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate learner records and compliance documentation
  • Engage with employer partners to align training with industry expectations
  • Develop learners’ confidence, workplace behaviours, and job readiness

Ideal Candidate

You are an industry professional with a passion for developing others and transferring practical knowledge into meaningful learning experiences.

Essential:

  • Background in warehouse operations, logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain
  • Strong understanding of Lean methodologies and continuous improvement
  • Passion for teaching, mentoring, and supporting adult learners
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Competent in IT systems and learner documentation

Desirable:

  • Experience delivering training within AEB or employability programmes
  • Teaching qualification (AET, PTLLS, or equivalent)
  • Experience supporting vocational qualifications, bootcamps, or apprenticeships
  • Awareness of Ofsted standards and funded education frameworks
