About the Job

As a Part-Time Functional Skills Tutor, you will deliver engaging and effective Functional Skills lessons in English and/or Maths to learners from a variety of backgrounds and ability levels. You will play a key role in supporting learners to achieve their qualifications, build confidence, and progress towards their career goals.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality Functional Skills sessions
  • Supporting learners to develop their English and Maths skills
  • Assessing learner progress and providing constructive feedback
  • Creating engaging lesson plans tailored to individual learning needs
  • Monitoring attendance, progress, and achievement levels
