About the Role
There are opportunities available for both an Employability Tutor and a Customer Service Tutor, delivering engaging, face-to-face training to adult learners.
As a tutor, you will:
- Deliver interactive workshops and classroom-based sessions
- Provide tailored 1:1 coaching and mentoring support
- Embed Maths, English, digital skills, and workplace behaviours into learning
- Support learners with CV writing, job applications, and interview preparation
- Track progress, set SMART targets, and maintain accurate records
- Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
- Prepare learners for qualifications and progression into employment or further training
Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for passionate, learner-focused professionals who thrive on helping others succeed.
You will have:
- A Level 3 teaching qualification (AET, PTLLS, or equivalent)
- Experience delivering employability or customer service training
- Strong ability to engage and motivate adult learners from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills
- Confidence using IT systems and learner management platforms
Desirable:
- IAG qualification or experience providing Information, Advice & Guidance
- Experience within vocational sectors such as customer service, logistics, or business admin
- Knowledge of funded adult skills or employability programmes
