The Role
As a Care Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective training to learners working towards qualifications in health and social care. This role offers a blend of delivery, learner support, and quality assurance, ensuring individuals are fully prepared to succeed in their roles and assessments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality training sessions, both online and face-to-face
- Supporting learners through their qualifications, including assignments and assessments
- Providing regular coaching, feedback, and progress reviews
- Preparing learners for End-Point Assessment (where applicable)
- Maintaining accurate and compliant learner documentation and records
- Embedding safeguarding, Prevent, and British values within all delivery
- Supporting learners with additional needs to ensure successful outcomes
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, delivering impactful training, and maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Ideal Candidate
You will be an experienced care professional with a passion for supporting and developing others, ideally with exposure to training or education environments. You will have:
- Experience working within Health & Social Care
- A genuine interest in teaching, coaching, or mentoring learners
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of apprenticeship or vocational training environments
- A teaching or training qualification (AET or equivalent)
- An assessor qualification (TAQA, A1, or equivalent)
