- Areas currently covered by the Accounts Department, for which you are responsible are:
- Strategic financial planning including Acquisitions and Disposals, Corporation tax, Capital Allowances, funding, grants, foreign exchange opportunities, inter-company transactions, Fixed Asset investment and Payback calculations.
- Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss management.
- Budgeting, Forecasting and Cash Flows.
- Statutory Accounts and other statutory reporting, including VAT returns.
- Research & Development rebate scheme and other possible grant applications.
- Monthly Management Accounts and Variance analysis.
- Business efficiencies and continuous improvement.
- Sales ledger, including invoicing, VAT, Credit Control and Credit Management, Cash posting.
- Purchase ledger, including invoice, credit note and Supplier management, VAT, Payment control.
- Bank control including reconciliation of all accounts and Credit Card and Foreign Currency including currency gains and losses.
- Intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
- Monitoring and management of relationships between the Company and customers and suppliers.
