We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gas Installation Engineer (domestic and/or commercial), with around 5 years plus experience. Depending on experience and qualifications this would be reflected in the pay scale. There is an opportunity for a domestic engineer to train and work towards a commercial qualification. There is an opportunity to train towards the installation of Air Source Heat Pumps.

Duties
- Install domestic and/or commercial gas systems and appliances in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Conduct thorough inspections of gas installations to ensure compliance with legal and safety requirements.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues and perform repairs efficiently.
- Carry out plumbing tasks related to gas system connections and fittings.
- Utilise basic maths skills for measurements, calculations and adjustments during installation processes.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times during installation and maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in gas installation or related mechanical roles within a domestic or commercial environment.
- Competency in plumbing, gas works, unvented cylinders.
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment used in gas system installations.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Valid driving licence.
- Basic maths skills for precise measurements and calculations.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Gas safe qualification.
- G3 unvented qualification.
