SJF Electrics Ltd is an established and growing electrical, fire and security contractor based in Darwen. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join our team. All work is carried out locally within Lancashire and Greater Manchester, with no working away from home. Engineers are based from our Darwen office and benefit from a stable, consistent local workload.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation, servicing, maintenance and fault finding of fire and security systems across commercial and residential sites, including standalone and networked door access control systems, intruder alarm systems, a range of conventional and addressable fire alarm systems, CCTV systems and lockdown systems.
  • Completion of job reports, commissioning records and certification to a high standard.
  • Maintaining professional standards of workmanship, compliance and customer service at all times.

Requirements:

  • Fully experienced Fire & Security Engineer with proven hands-on knowledge of access control, intruder alarms, fire alarms, CCTV and lockdown systems.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to pass a DBS check.
  • Currently living in Lancashire or Greater Manchester.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
  • Reliable, professional and able to work independently.
