Our financial client is seeking a Senior Mainframe Application Developer to support a major SAS software conversion project aimed at transitioning mainframe jobs identified for a unique conversion path.

Location: remote across Canada

Must-Have Skills:

• SAS
• Rexx
• JCL
• COBOL
• SORT

Responsibilities:

• Analyze mainframe jobs: Conduct detailed assessments of jobs that need a distinct conversion process from Splunk.
• Convert mainframe jobs: Develop and implement conversion strategies to transition the identified jobs to a new solution.
• Collaborate with teams: Work closely with other development teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth integration and minimal disruptions to ongoing operations.
• Optimize mainframe performance: Ensure efficient and optimized mainframe operations during and after the conversion process.
