Our valued Public Sector client is seeking a Senior Technical Architect (10+ years) to support the transition from a legacy credential platform to a modern authentication solution. This role will focus on technical architecture, migration enablement, access management design, and operational readiness while ensuring continuity of existing services.

The Technical Architect will collaborate with product teams, partners, vendors, and operational stakeholders to support integration activities, develop and maintain documentation, and provide architectural oversight throughout onboarding and adoption efforts.

Tasks:

  • Provide technical architecture support for the transition from a legacy authentication platform to a modern solution.
  • Support technical onboarding and enablement of partner applications and services.
  • Develop and maintain partner-facing and internal technical and operational documentation.
  • Define and document processes for partner intake, change management, incident response, and communications.
  • Design and document access management workflows, including provisioning, deprovisioning, and auditability.
  • Support onboarding of applications across both legacy and modern authentication environments.
  • Participate in vendor, service management, and project meetings to ensure technical alignment.

Must Haves:

  • TOGAF/Business Architecture certification.
  • IT Degree/diploma.
  • Experience designing or supporting authentication, access management, or credential-based platforms.
  • Experience supporting shared or enterprise authentication platforms.
  • Experience with partner enablement, onboarding, or service integration models.
  • Experience supporting system transitions or migrations from legacy environments.
  • Secret Clearance.
