We are seeking a Senior Maximo Technical Consultant to support a large-scale enterprise data migration initiative involving the transition from IBM Maximo to SAP. The consultant will play a critical role in analyzing, extracting, transforming, and migrating asset and maintenance data from Maximo into SAP while ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and alignment with SAP structures. This is a hands-on technical role requiring deep Maximo expertise and strong SQL capabilities.

Duration - 4 months plus extension. Work mode - % remote for candidates outside Calgary. For Calgary candidates, it will be hybrid.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technical activities related to Maximo data extraction and migration
  • Analyze Maximo data structures (assets, work orders, PMs, locations, inventory, etc.)
  • Develop and execute SQL queries for data validation, cleansing, and transformation
  • Map Maximo data objects to SAP target structures
  • Support data reconciliation, validation, and migration cycles
  • Troubleshoot migration defects and data inconsistencies
  • Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to ensure alignment
  • Document data mappings, transformation logic, and migration procedures
  • Participate in testing cycles (SIT, UAT, mock loads, cutover)
Must-Have Skills & Experience
  • Strong technical expertise in IBM Maximo (data model, database structure, integrations)
  • Advanced SQL skills (query writing, performance tuning, data validation)
  • Hands-on experience with large-scale data migration projects
  • Experience working with enterprise asset management (EAM) systems
  • Strong understanding of data cleansing, transformation, and reconciliation processes
