LOCATION: HYBRID - Sarnia/Calgary or Edmonton - 3 days a week on site
This role will focus on designing and developing training content for Field Work Management (FWM) processes and tools, including Maximo and related systems. The successful candidate will create structured, role-based learning content that enables safe, efficient, and consistent execution of field work across regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze training needs and perform gap assessments for FWM processes and system changes.
- Design and develop learning content using the ADDIE methodology, including:
- Role-based learning paths and curricula.
- Interactive modules (e-learning, classroom, blended).
- Job aids, quick reference guides, and microlearning videos.
Must Have:
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in Instructional Design, Education, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in instructional design and curriculum development for technical or operational environments.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and competency-based training frameworks.
- Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (Articulate, Captivate), multimedia editing, and LMS administration.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Maximo, Work Management processes, or similar enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with oil & gas operations and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of ADDIE and DACUM methodologies for training design.
