Our client is looking for an Intermediate Identity Analyst for assessing current Identity and Access processes and working with the team to implement IAM best practices for a Financial client.
Overview: The contractor will be working on our Role Based Access Control project, defining access that is required for roles within the organization by consulting with leaders and reviewing existing access control data.
Must Have's:
- 3+ years of experience as an Identity Analyst
- 3+ years of general experience in an IT Enterprise environment
- Experience with Okta including Okta Workflows, SSO, and Okta Identity Governance
- Active Directory and PowerShell
- Familiarity with authentication protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and LDAP
- Completed or actively pursuing industry-standard certifications such as CISSP, SSCP, or Google PCSE
- Familiarity with the NIST framework and information security concepts such as the principle of least privilege
- ServiceNow / ITIL v4 experience
Nice to Have's:
- Experience with Identity & Access Management in a multi-forest Active Directory environment
- Privileged Access Management (PAM) experience
- Familiarity with IAM governance, regulatory compliance (e.g., SOX, GDPR), and access reviews
- Strong familiarity with Windows, MacOS, and Linux operating systems
- Proven capability to map, translate, and improve processes
- Experience with Python, Shell scripting, or APIs for automating identity lifecycle management
Responsibilities:
- Experience with Privileged Access management, Identity Provider configuration, Access control systems, Automation and a desire for continuous improvement will be crucial to success in this role.
- Act as a representative of the Enterprise Identity & Application Security team working to promote strong partnerships with teams and stakeholders that are dependent on our services.
- Consult with other teams to determine required roles for Role Based Access Control profiles.
- Promote secure access management practices across the organization.
- Experience automating mass directory changes in Active Directory with Powershell.
- Experience with Okta Workflows to orchestrate account lifecycle and role assignments.
